It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Keith Sorrell (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lentis and Maude Opal Penny Sorrell; and his siblings, Helen Stephenson, Billy Sorrell, Don Sorrell, Joe Sorrell and H. L. Sorrell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda B. Sorrell; his daughter Yvette Davis (Anthony) of Clayton; his stepchildren, Sherri Mann (Jerry) of Benson, Shannon Rowland of Raleigh and Jeffrey Smith (Maren) of Fuquay; his grandsons, Bryant Christian, Colby Keith and Kyle Anthony; his stepgrandchildren, Brandi, Dillon, Brett, Christopher, Hunter, Amy, Keanna, Dakota, Makayla, Jayden and Jaxson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Malikah and Camden; and his sisters, Betty Sorrell of Angier and Opal Coats (James) of Benson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
