He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Ray Stancil and Eula Gregory Stancil. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Stancil; his children, Julie Stancil Moore (Henry) of Clinton and Bradley Stancil (Kristi) of Willow Spring; his brother Phil Stancil of Coats; and his grandchildren, Alex Raynor (Tripp McDonald), Jared Raynor, Fisher, Saylor, River, Tyde Stancil, Henry IV and Piper Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Angier Baptist Church.
