He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Gilbert and Reecie Gilbert; his niece Amy Howard; and his nephew Scott Robinson. He is survived by: his son Len Gilbert (Kristin); his grandson Noah Gilbert; his daughter April Dawn; his sister Bonnie Howard (Tony); his niece Jana Gregory (Derek); his great-nieces, Mia and Jett Gregory; and his sister Donna Smith.
