It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ezraleen Matthews Thaxton (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Matthews and Bertha Reardon Matthews; her husband Marshall Thaxton; and her siblings, Clara Gilbert, Mary Byrd, Retha Lee Morris, Preston Matthews and Halford Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Joye Thaxton of Holly Springs and Ray Thaxton (Pam) of Holly Springs.
