It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Farrior (Betsy) Buford (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frances Ardelia Farrior Buford and William Edwin Buford; her friend Katherine White; her husband Donald G. Mathews; her sister Marjorie Buford Wilkie (Claude Franklin Wilkie); her nephew Bryan Maxwell Wilkie (Sonya Davis Wilkie); her niece Janice Lynn Wilkie Dance (Michael James Dance); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, David Michael Dance, Connor Maxwell Wilkie, Abigail Elizabeth Dance and Adrienne Ruth Wilkie. She was also cherished by numerous friends and extended family.
