He is survived by: his wife Sue Darden; his children, Steven Buckom of Jacksonville, NC, Edwin Moody of Selma, Chad Hacker (Trisha) of Bay City, MI, Ryan Hacker (Angie) of Kawkawlin, MI, Nicarra Darden Harris (Larry) of Garner, Shuketa Bryant of Jacksonville, NC and Khaliah Darden of Alan Town, PA; his siblings, Randolph Darden of Goldsboro, Ralph Darden (Mary), Lucille Sykes of Goldsboro, Elizabeth Jones of Atlanta, GA and Margaret Elliott of Goldsboro; and his niece Lois Darden Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
