It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dwight J. Stephenson of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Vera; and his sisters, Sarah, Lucille, Inez, Ruth and Betty.

He is survived by: his sons, Franklin (Susan), Phil (Angela) and Vann (Lynn); his siblings, Bobby, Neil and Javain; his grandchildren, Michelle, Jamie, Drew, Kyle, Nathan, Lauren and Kirk; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Elle, Jacob, Audrey, Sadie, Lane, Bailey, Annabelle, Luke and Kennedy.
