It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Johnson of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Johnson and Dorothy Godwin Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Freda Adams Johnson; his children, Clark Johnson (Kathy) of Angier, NC, Tara Thompson (Chris) of Florida and Nickie Johnson Brown (Rusty Taylor) of Angier, NC; his grandchildren, Whitney Gilmore (William), Wesley Johnson (Lydia), Caitlin Campbell (Rhys), Cameron Redmond (William Savoy), Conner Redmond (Sydney), Tucker Brown, Kason Brown and Easton Brown; his great grandchildren, Hadley, Alice, Henry, Lachlan, Declan and Nolan; and his sisters, Ann Johnson O'Neal (Jimmy) of Dunn, NC and Paulette Warren (Tony) of Angier, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
