She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie W. Harris and Ruby Morris Harris; her husbands, Russell Odell Wood, Sr., Henry Nelson Franke, Jr. and Julian David "Buddy" Nesselrodt; her siblings, Bevoline H. Brooks and Phillip Allen Harris; and her granddaughter-in-law DeEtta J. Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Odell "Johnny" Wood, Jr. (Elaine) and Elizabeth Nell Franke; her grandsons, Jeffery David Wood and Robbie Odell Wood (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Justin, Riley, Mary Elaine, Ava, Charlotte and Macie Wood; and her sisters, Laura Ann H. Dupree of Raleigh, NC and Mary H. Toler of Grantsboro, NC..
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. The visitation on Wednesday Night will follow all COVID 19 restrictions allowing a maximum number of people in the visitation room.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Providence Presbyterian Church.
