He was predeceased by: his father Milton Gandy; his stepmother Doris Gandy; and his mother Jennie Ruth Brumley Brazzel. He is survived by: his wife Suvon G. Gandy; his children, Elisa Gandy of Raleigh and Brian Gandy of Angier; his grandchildren, Kristen E. Currin (Luke) of Fuquay-Varina and Remington Chase Mangum of Lillington; and his great grandchild Kingston Luke Currin of Fuquay-Varina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
