He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Jones and Ray Jones; his uncle Charlie; his aunt Frances Harper; and his parents-in-law, Garland and Emma Hobson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hobson Jones; his daughters, Erica Jones of Angier and Tara Jones Fish (Ray) of Willow Spring; and his grandchildren, Jenna and Jackson Fish of Willow Spring.
