He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eddie Lawrence and Lela Mae Stephenson Pleasant; his wife Grace S. Pleasant; his children, Paula Avery (Henley) of Angier and Bobby Ray Pleasant, Jr. (Miriam) of Angier; his grandchildren, Travis Avery (Michelle), Kameron Knowles (Bobby) and Bobby Ray Pleasant, III; and his sister Margie Ann Pleasant of Clayton.
