She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamon Fulton and Mary Martha Walters House; her husband Joseph "Joe" Stephenson; and her brothers, James House (Mary), Herman House (Jewel) and Bobby House.
She is survived by: her children, Trudy Chappell (Danny) of Angier and Tim Stephenson (Carolyn) of Fuquay-Varina; her granddaughter Stephanie Morgan; her great grandchild Lane Morgan; and her sister-in-law Mavis House of Clayton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
