With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Britt of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Samuel and Eliza Smith Lipscomb; her husband J. B. Britt; and her siblings, Virginia Overton, Carl Lipscomb, Paul Lipscomb, Ernest Lipscomb, Tommy Lipscomb, Joe Lipscomb and Billy Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Ann Britt and John Britt (Rhonda) of Angier; her grandchildren, Adam Britt, Ashton and Carson Britt of Angier; and her sister-in-law Joyce Canady of Clayton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
