He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Briones and Sanjuana Diaz; and his sisters, Luz Briones and Zenaida Briones. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Collazo; his children, Juana Briones, Cecilia Briones, Luz Briones and Manuel Briones; his grandchildren, Manuel, Bryan, Israel, Yamilet, Ireisi, Rosanelly, Naileha, Jenny, Angel M. and Carlos; and his brothers, Rito Briones and Faustino Briones.
