He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Patterson and Mabel Colvard Patterson; and his sister Sonja Crisp. He is survived by: his wife Eula Gregory Patterson; and his children, Ethan Patterson, Stephan Patterson (Manuela), Jill Hughes (Doug) and Cynthia Patterson. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
