With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Long Hedden of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sara Long Hedden to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry "Jack" Long and Josephine O'Dell Long; and her sister Lou Ann Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Hedden; her children, Maria Rich (Mark) of Hendersonville, Kristal Cohen (Donny) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jerry Hedden (Audrey) of Andrews; her granddaughters, Ana Shorey (Stephen), Ansley Conley (Elisha), Caroline Cohen, Aly Rich and Ashley Rich; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Blakely, Jake Shorey and Beckett Conley.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Valleytown Cemetery (234 Valleytown Cemetery Rd, Andrews, NC 28901).
