It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Donald Sargent of Andrews, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Coleman Sargent and Elsie Florence McDonald; his grandson Coleman Edward Sargent; and his sister Juanita Elsie Dillard. He is survived by: his wife Daphne Mary Irene Sargent; his sons, Roy Geoffrey Sargent (Midori) of San Lorenzo, Calif, Mark William Sargent (Louise), Robin Ian Sargent (April) of Andrews, NC and Kevin Woodley Sargent (Kathy) of Murphy, NC; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ian, Josh, Kirsten, Ashley and Daisy; and his great grandchildren, Ian, David, Peyton and Cillian.
