We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Robert Hay of Andrews, North Carolina. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Robert Hay to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R Hay Sr. and Ardith Bastow Hay. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth DeJarnette Hay of Andrews, NC.; his children, Heather Hay Eaton (Charles) of Charlotte, NC, Holly DeJarnette Hay of Atlanta, GA and Thomas Robert Hay; his sister Ardith Hay Beadles of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Charles Frederick Eaton, Daniel DeJarnette Eaton, Morgan Victoria Young and Neil Alexander Young; and his nieces, Ardith Elyse Hertzog and Elena Beadles Moul.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made in honor of Robert Hay to Industrial Opportunities Inc. P.O. Box 1649 Andrews, NC 28901.

He cared about the science beauty of the Western North Carolina mountains that we all love, its people, and the opportunity for economic growth for the area we all call home.”
