She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Cielo; her parents, Sarah Gideon Tardugno and Joseph Tardugno; and her brother Michael Joseph Tardugno. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Cielo (Robin) and Todd Cielo (Yolanda); her brother Duane Tardugno (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Isabella Cielo, Rocco and Cruz Cielo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rita's memory to the Triangle Sheltie Rescue of North Carolina.
