She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fulton and Emily Sexton Hass; her former husband Leon D. Hardin; and her brothers, Charles and Sonny Hass.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Larry Joseph Ackerman of Andrews; her children, Sharon Lynn Wieting (Cory) of Gulfport, MS, Dr. David Ackerman (Alison) of Elkin, NC and Andrew Ackerman (Susan) of Lawrenceville, GA.; and her adoptive daughters, Jeannie Buchanan, Judy Curtis and Jane Carver. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandson.
