He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Shane Hogsed. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Edwin and Laura Bess Hogsed; his siblings, Carly Beth Piercy, Lacey Luther (Danny) and Russell Moss; his grandparents, Mike Piercy and Ruth Garland (Regina); his aunts, Debbie Garland and Martha Pullium; his nephew Collin Hogsed; and his niece Jazmine Killan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy (4334 US-64, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery (65 Balsam Ln, Andrews, NC 28901).
