She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Harmon Chastain and Margaret Marie Hughes Chastain; her nephew Chad Larry Stiles; and her siblings, Ray Hobart Chastain and Madonna Ruth Chastain Stiles.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Shepherd (Mary Farmer) and Paul Robert Koehler (Debbie); her siblings, Vickie Chastain Dickerson (Bob), Barbara K. Chastain and Edward Harmon Chastain; and her sister-in-law Sue Chastain. She is also survived by five nieces, and several special cousins.
