She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilson and Hazel Hill Wilson; and her sister Doris Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Shields (Penny), Dennis Shields (Michaela), Matthew Shields (Paula), Tammy Kirkland, Jane Wright, Mary Alice Mellis and Ann Derreberry; her grandchildren, Shane Shields, Jennifer Shields, Cynthia Shields, Heather Kirkland, Joshua Shields, Sarah Shields and Emma Shields; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Sadie Shields.
