It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Dickie McLain of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert McLain and Bernice Hyde McLain; and his siblings, Shirley Passmore, Revia Dockery, Kathy Denny, Alomia Mashburn and Gary McLain.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Millsaps McLain of Andrews; and his sister Linda Thompson (Emmitt) of Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
