It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Bateman of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bateman and Eula Cope Bateman; and his siblings, Bill, Paul, Eldridge Bateman, Ethel Bateman, Doralee Passmore and Betty Jean Bateman.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bateman; his children, James Bateman (Cynthia) and Missy Evans (Ray); his sister Francis Mitz; and his grandchildren, Amanda McCoy, Megan McLean, Dakota Bateman, Derek Bateman and Donovan Bateman. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
