It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Lunsford Brooks of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillie Lunsford and Norma Truett Lunsford; and her husband Floyd "Chub" Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Brooks Bradshaw (Wilfred) of Andrews, David Brooks (Ann) of Andrews and Steven Brooks (Patricia) of Clarksville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Allen Denny, Norma McCoy, Adam Brooks, Chad Brooks, Stephanie Hough and Sarah Bowman. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Andrews First Baptist Church (1606 Business Hwy 19, Andrews, NC 28901). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
