He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Douglas and Mary Pearl Reagan Brown; and his brother Walt Brown Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Trish Brown of Andrews; his children, Lori Brown Geddings (Jay) of Tryon, Tamara Tucker (Chris) of Andrews and John Matthew Brown of Andrews; his brother Jack Brown (Sara) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jackson Geddings of Tryon, Madison Geddings of Tryon and Chance Mashburn (Maggie) of Sparta, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Gibson Lee, Charleigh Grace and Lainey Kate; and his friends, Robert Hogsed and Claude Ridley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
