He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nelms Postell; his children, Jason Postell (Amy) of Robbinsville, NC and Katy Postell Dearth (Bryan) of Highlands, NC; his grandchildren, Reece Postell (Morgan), Locklie Postell (Dillan), J. J. Postell and Corena Dearth; his great grandchild Mila Postell; his siblings, Mildred Trantham, Helen West, Lonnie Postell (Martha) and Otis Postell; and his sister-in-law Shirley Postell.
