With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Hawk (Andrews, North Carolina), born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2019. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Hawk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Mitchell and Sarah Blanche Bradley Hawk; and his daughter Sandra Gail Hawk Rech. He is survived by: his wife Lavenia Forbes Hawk; his children, Diane Williamson (Ricky) of Canton, Debra Hawk Esposito of Goldston and Joseph Harry Hawk Jr. (Wendy) of Lenoir; his son-in-law Philip Rech (Wanda) of Seneca; and his brother Dan Hawk of Andrews. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four bonus grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Rev. Harry Hawk to the Andrews United Methodist Church, PO Box 1310, Andrews, NC 28901.
