She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Payne and Julia Stiles Payne; her husband Earl Gibby; her children, Teddy Gibby and Pat Gibson; and her siblings, Jack, Ralph, Larry Payne, Lois Payne and Vergie Rowland.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Lequire (Dale); her sisters, Betty Wilson and Linda Rowland; her grandchildren, Josh Chastain (Celica), Lisa Grubb (Paul), Kayla Lopp (Daniel), Tiffany Cooke (Steven) and Justin LeQuire (Faith); her great grandchildren, Lily (Alex), Cricket, Huxley, Melanie-Cambria, Kaiden, Maverick, Maddox, Myles, Madi Kate, Aiden, Liam, Adley and Everly; and her great great grandchild Marisol.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Chapel (409 Kent St, Andrews, NC 28901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
