It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma L. Hogan of Andrews, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Hardie and Louisza Elizabeth Taylor White; her husband Everett "Dick" Hogan; her son Russell Hogan; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Goins, Dixie Parker, Maggie Hardin, Doris White, Madge Postell, Walter, Claude and Arlen White.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Hogan of Granite Falls; her sister Iris Plemmons of Andrews; her grandchildren, Melissa Hogan of Greer and Tracy Hogan of Hickory; and her great grandchildren, Russell Littlejohn, Eric and Matthew Hogan.
The family requests memorials be made in memory of Emma L. Hogan to the McClelland Cove Baptist Church, PO Box 276, Andrews, NC 28901.
