He was predeceased by: his parents, Gay Worth Luther and Clarine Blaylock; his brothers, Forest Lee Luther and Michael Luther; and his grandson David Lee Luther.
He is survived by: his former wife Sheila Cleghorn of Andrews; his daughter Amy Smith; his son-in-law Joe Freeman; his siblings, Mickey Saunders of Las Vegas, NV. and Gary; his sister-in-law Kay Luther of Guntersville, AL.; and his grandchildren, Nancy Luther, Jeremiah Freeman, Christopher Smith and Gage Freeman.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help defray expenses in David's memory.
