It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Carroll Hawk Sr. of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Mitchell Hawk and Blanche Bradley Hawk; his wife Rosalind Stalcup Hawk; and his siblings, Ruth, Geraldine, Betty John, Peggy, Harold Malcolm (Jack), Willard Mitchell II (Mickey) and Joseph Harry Hawk.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Maennle (Steve) and Danny Hawk (Ruth); his daughter-in-law Muffy Kerber (George); his grandchildren, Dan Hawk III (Sarah), Kristin Hawk (Julie), Beth Maennle, Mark Maennle (Ashley), Josh Hawk (Misty), Georgie Kerber (Sophia) and Alex Kerber (Mike Davis); and his great grandchildren, Lucas Moses-Borne, Hudson Hawk, Bennett Hawk, Gwyneth Maennle, Coralee Hawk, Greyson Maennle and Benjamin Davis.
