He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Spear and Margaret Walker Freel; and his brother Clyde Walker Freel. He is survived by: his wife Lillian West Freel; his children, C. Scott Freel (Margaret) of Murphy, Margie Carpenter of Andrews and Susan Bode (Jan) of Belgium; his grandchildren, Craig Freel (Perri) of Charlotte, NC, Avery, Michael Carpenter of Andrews, Lukas and Lauren Bode of Belgium; his great grandchildren, Crawford and Davis Freel; and his nephew Mark Walker Freel.
