He was predeceased by: his parents, James Westley and Ruby Derreberry Adams; and his siblings, Verne Adams and Freda Adams. He is survived by: his children, J. D. Adams (Peggy) of Kathleen, GA and Betty Jean Hawkins (Michael); and his siblings, Ronnie of Andrews, Steve Adams of Andrews, Clara Mae Gibson of Andrews and Kay Morgan of Murphy. He is also survived by seven grandsons, and a great grandson.
