With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Lucille Raxter of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pink Wesley and Winnie Fay Jones Leming; her husband John Raxter; her son John Darrell Raxter; and her brother Jerry Leming.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Raxter (Crickett) of Andrews and Lane Raxter (Marilyn) of Andrews; her sister Kay Leming Foy (Mike) of Andrews; her daughter-in-law Catherine Raxter of Peachland, NC; her grandchildren, Mary Millsaps (Mike), Dustin Raxter (Zella), John Raxter (Amanda), Jeremy Raxter and Jay Raxter; her great grandchildren, Ethan Wishon, Brianna, Dante, Channah, Jacob, Taft, Jaxon and Abbigail Raxter; and her great great grandchild Ashton Wishon.
