He was predeceased by: his father Robert Ellis Wade; his siblings, Eugene, Earnest, Harold Wade, Ophelia Day and Irene Williams; and his great grandchild Summer Mashburn.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Loyd Wade; his children, Janet Wade Cook (Mark), Richard Jr. (Brenda) and Robert (Ruth); his grandchildren, Mollie Vaughan Kimberly (Dave), Katie Haynes (Benji), Bobby Hunter, Wayne Hunter (Becky), John Wade (Shannon), Darren Cook (Caitlin) and Dylan Cook; his great grandchildren, Autumn Hunter, Bradshaw, Charlie Vaughan, Cameron, Blake, Oakley Lutterloh, Jack, Hollis, Ozzy Wade and Henry Cook; and his siblings, Betty Lou Evans, Beamie (Dorothy) and Randy Wade (Mary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
