She was predeceased by: her siblings, Irvis Hurdle, Odell Hurdle, Iona Hurdle, Theressa Hurdle, Walter Hurdle, Jr., George Hurdle, Joseph Hurdle, Rossalee Hurdle, Sammie Ray Hurdle, Alvenus Burnett and William Hurdle.
She is survived by: her husband James Junior Sellars; and her siblings, Charlie Hurdle (Ernestine), Willard Hurdle (Doris), Jearlene Sellars, Paulette Leath (Alonzo), Vera Hurdle, Nettie Guy (Clyde) and Ethel Horton (Clint). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alamance Funeral Service and Crematorium (605 E Webb Ave, Burlington, NC 27217). Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Stoney Creek AME Church (3769 Milesville Rd, Elon, NC 27244). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
