Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wilma Sanders Whorton (Alliance, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 98, on October 30, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband S. G. Whorton; her sons, Gary Whorton of Bayboro, Larry Whorton of Arapahoe and Kevin Whorton of Florence; and her granddaughter Annette Whorton of Bayboro.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Mary Helen "Duck" Whorton of Arapahoe. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
