He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Tyndall and Mary Tyndall; his brothers, Julius, Glenwood, Willie and Noah; and his grandson William Clinton Muse.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtice Tompkins Tyndall; and his children, Lorna Dixon (Bill), Sandra Flythe (Kent) and Donald Tyndall (Lori). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Pamlico Co. Rescue Squad, PO Box 302, Bayboro, NC 28515.
