He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Violet Mayo and Troy Potter, Jr.; his sister Jessica Marie Potter; and his grandparents, Troy Sr., Bertha Jones Potter, Shirley Williamson Ireland and Ernest Mayo, Sr..
He is survived by: his brother Andrew James "AJ" Potter; and his niece Chloe Potter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested making a memorial contribution to a charity of choice.
