He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Spencer (Claud) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Stacy Nelson (Craig) of Grantsboro and Clay Spencer of New Bern; his great grandchild Savannah Nelson; his siblings, Roy Buck (Jackie) of Grantsboro, Jimmy Buck of Alliance, Melvin Hunnings of Beaufort, Wilma Merchant of New Bern and Hazel Alcock (Frank) of New Bern; and his siblings-in-law, Bud Hines of Virginia, Edna Jarvis of Virginia, Betty Hartman of South Carolina, Linda Saulter (Charlie) of Bridgeton and Linda Powell (Walter) of Grantsboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
