He is survived by: his wife Della Elizabeth Hodges Mitchell; his daughter Brenda M. Croom (Dwayne); his siblings, Thomas Sawyer (Betty), Dewitt Sawyer (Annabelle), Jackie Sawyer, Goldie Wells and Patricia Dail; his grandchildren, Randy Lee Croom (Chasity), Nicole Lee Croom and Robin Lee Croom (Nick Sinicrope); and his great grandchildren, Polly Croom, Willow Marie Sinicrope and Kinsley Renae Sinicrope.
