She was predeceased by: her parents, E. M. Franklin Sartin and Edna Smith Sartin; her husband Kenneth Dupree Sigmon; and her sister Barbara Queen. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Kirkland (Mike) of Stanley, Mike Sigmon (Charlotte) of Cherryville, Keith Sigmon (Lisa) of Stanley and Lisa Cook (Darwin) of Rockingham, NC; her brother David Sartin of Cherryville; and her grandchildren, Jason Kirkland (Crystal), Justin Kirkland (Becky), Bryan Sigmon (Jessica), Brandon Cook, Jacob Cook (Brandi), Amanda Holtzclaw (Brandon), Kenny Walters (Mandi), Leslie Smith (Josh) and Tyler Carver. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
