She is survived by: her parent Beatrice Holt Gray; her children, Wayne Sumpter (Sharon) of Hickory and Jerry Sumpter (Cathy) of Hilton Head, SC; her grandchildren, Jamie Sumpter, Melissa Sumpter DeLony (John) and Alex Sumpter; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Lea Stout and Foster DeLony.
