She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carl Helton and Mary Franklin Helton; and her siblings, Ruth Nations, Jimmy Helton, Jean Tripp, Wilber Helton and Celestine Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd "Bud" Lee Pate; her children, Steve Pate, Lori Rhyne (Mark), Kelly Pate (Rita) and Jamie Pate; her sister Vickie Whitener; her grandchildren, Victoria Price, Chris Byrd and Jesse Mercer; and her great grandchildren, Dakota Price and Dylan Stager.
