He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Fletcher Martin and Eulala Carswell Martin; his brothers, Jimmy, Don and Jerry Martin; and his grandson Hayden.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hutchins Martin; his sister-in-law Ruby H. Scoggin; his children, Christy Martin Oxendine (Tony) and Cindy Martin Pennington (Clyde); his stepchildren, Angie Frye Green (Tom) and Freddy Frye (Sonya); his siblings, Peggy Dianne Martin and John Derrick Martin; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jessie, Derek, Madeline, Garrett, Leah, Jordan and Carson.
