Esther Presswood Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2022, at the age of 90, Esther Presswood of Alexis, North Carolina, born in Glenville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Asbury Somers and Chloa Bell Jared Somers; and her husband Louis Presswood. She is survived by: her children, Randy Presswood (Karen), Terry Presswood (Wendy) and Kathy Rufiange (Jim); her sister Ruth Lewis; her grandchildren, Dori Hovis (Chris), Brad Presswood (Ginger), Tim Presswood (Lisa) and Alan Presswood (April); her great grandchildren, Kylie, Aubrey Melius, Noel, Malachi Hartsell, Addison, Gavin, Emma, Jake, Hailee Presswood and Cody Brown; and her great great grandchildren, Cohen Melius and JD Holt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alexis Baptist Church.
