She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Barnes and Marietta Garner Barnes; her husband Johnnie Montgomery; her sons, Randy Dewayne Hance and Ricky Darrell Hance; and her siblings, Ronald Steve Barnes, Gail Barnes Gann and Shirley Barnes Helton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hance Cody, Donna Hance Dunn (Bobby), Karen Hance Aldridge (Steven), Betsy Montgomery Stinnett and Melissa Ealy Kirkland (Ricky); her siblings, Dorothy Barnes Chesteen, Charles Eulas Barnes (Mary) and Rodney Barnes; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Helton and Marie Woody Barnes. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a number of special nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
